Bungee Jumping- Thrill of Adrenaline Rush

Bungee jumping is an activity in which a person jumps from high place with one end of elastic cord attached to his/her body. But there is nothing more adventurous than getting a high of falling from a height. Falling from a height of around 120 to 700 feet and bunging up and down is only for those who don't have fear of their life.

Bungee Jumping

It is the most thrilling sport and it has both spectacular attraction and an exhilarating experience. This adventurous sport gradually gained popularity in the mid of 80's in Europe and North America. In India bungee jumping was introduced in 90's and became popular very fast. The world's first great bungee jumping occured on April first on fools day in 1979.

While doing this adventurous activity we should keep some precaution in mind- Bungee Jumping require more mental fitness than physical one. People within the age group of 15 to 50 years can comfortably try this jumping. Expected mothers, blood pressure patients, heart patients should not indulge in this adventurous sport.

There is an interesting story related to this adventurous sport. Once a tribal ran away from her incense husband who tried to kill her. However, she saw her husband gaining in speed, she climbed a tree perched herself at the top. But her husband was behind her. At last, she tied her legs with few vines and jumped on, thereby giving a birth to a new adventurous game 'Bungee Jumping'.
